Just have to tell you about a fun event coming up on Saturday, September 17th. It’s the launch of CowParade SLO, the largest public art exhibit ever in San Luis Obispo County. Life-sized fiberglass cows, 101 of them, have been painted/decorated by local artists, famous cartoonists and a celebrity model and tag artist and will be on display for one-day only, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the Madonna Meadows at the Madonna Inn!
After the one-day launch, all of the cows will be taken to places around the county, many at sponsor businesses, to be displayed for seven months. The cows will then be rounded up and go to auction the first Saturday in May 2017. Proceeds from the auction will go to the selected charities in the community. I sponsored a cow and it will be auctioned for Woods Humane Society.
Come to the launch event, September 17th. Come see my sponsored cow at the United Church of Christ (Congregational) of San Luis Obispo at 11245 Los Osos Valley Road. Go to CowParade SLO website and look at the all of the cows and see where they are located on the interactive map. What an udderly mooovelous event for SLO!!
