SLO Symphony

I began working with the San Luis Obispo Symphony in December of 2015. I was brought on to be the Director of Marketing and Communications for the rest of the 2016-17 season. After a quick ramp-up, I started to develop the processes to get all of the work done in a part-time capacity, working 4 hours a day each week in the office. It seemed a daunting task and it was challenging but I am enjoying myself immensely in this capacity.

CowParade SLO

For about eight months now, I have been working on an event called CowParade SLO. CowParade is an international art event where artists paint or decorate life-sized fiberglass cows that are then placed around town. The SLO CowParade will be a seven-month exhibit, from September 17, 2016 – April 30, 2017, culminating in the cows being auctioned for charity. Best part, HWY 101 has sponsored a cow!

Maureen “Mo” Clancy Memorial Scholarship

In 2014, I established the Maureen “Mo” Clancy Memorial Girl’s Track & Field Scholarship in memory of my friend. Mo was an exception person. A Boston Marathon Finisher. A Tri-athlete. A nurse and home care giver. A loving wife and aunt. An Ovarian Cancer awareness advocate. Mo bravely battled cancer four times. We lost her, but her enduring spirit lives on in our hearts.
